Second-plant line refurbished; shorter lead time for cut-to-size non-standard boards

After the cutting and stacking stations at the Jinling Industrial Park plant in Jiangshan Town, Laixi were reorganised, common sizes are kept in standing stock, and cut-to-size batches of thicknesses of 20–100 mm, non-standard sizes and shaped pieces can be shipped in stages to match construction milestones.

Underfloor heating insulation board and reflective film now supplied as a set

The 20 kg/m³ fire-retardant foam board and eco-friendly laminating adhesive, with the 50 g/m² non-woven reflective film, are bonded into sets at the same plant, so underfloor heating projects can buy the whole bill of materials at once and avoid the compatibility problems of multi-source purchasing.

Standardised inspection documents with the goods: stack numbers match the factory reports

Each shipment is accompanied by the factory inspection report and conformity certificate for that batch, with the stack numbers matching the delivery documents, which makes on-site sampling for testing and the compilation of acceptance records easier.

How to read fire classes

The choice between B1 (fire-retardant) and B2 (combustible) is decided mainly by building height, the use of the building and the requirements of the fire code. Boards are produced in separate batches by class and the class is stated on the delivery documents, so that classes are not mixed in one stack.

Comparison of common sizes

Compressive strength and use

Positions that carry load over the long term — floors, garage roof slabs, cold stores and road subgrades — need a higher compressive class. For ordinary wall insulation, select according to the design load; raising the class without need only adds cost.

Compressive strength ranges

Storage and on-site stacking

Boards should be stacked level, kept out of prolonged sun and rain, and kept away from open flame and organic solvents. On site, stack by position and collect the cutting dust in one place for disposal.
